About ISM

The Independent Study and Mentorship Program (ISM)

ISM is an elective that can be taken by juniors and seniors. Students who are chosen will research and conduct interviews on a topic of their choice. They will select a mentor in order to gain real-world experience throughout the process. 

ISM helps to develop skills of professionalism, communication, networking, interpersonal skills, interviewing skills, public speaking, and personal branding. The course is known for including research analysis, original idea generation, product design, and hands-on experience within the workplace.
