Writer's Block

This week I have begun working on the end of my first novel. I have had a faint idea of what I've wanted to happen for some time, but now I must learn how to turn it into a perfecting ending. The challenge has been dealing with writer's block for about a week now, because I'm not particularly sure where I want to begin. I plan to overcome this by reading a bit more online about what the proper ending to a book looks like, and what authors have suggested in dealing with writer's block. There will certainly be time over the weekend and next week to find myself outside and try to clear my mind of some of my stress to think.

I was very successful in leading up to the ending of my book, because most of it is now complete after months of work. I think I need to still learn how to deal with writer's block when it happens, because it can be a hindrance to my novel and to school when I can't particularly think. I think next week I will direct my focus on drafting the ending of my novel, and considering what events I want to occur and in what order. That way, I will be able to nicely wrap things up before moving into the second round of drafting.
